Nano-B is our hydrophobic treatment designed for exterior wood — decks, siding, and structures exposed to the elements. It limits moisture penetration and buildup in the wood fibres, reducing the conditions that promote mold, moss and lichen growth, while also helping protect the wood from the effects of the sun, including fading and premature aging, without coating it in varnish or a visible film.
Why protect wood from moisture?
Exterior wood is especially sensitive to moisture: swelling, cracking, and premature degradation can occur when water regularly penetrates its fibres. Reducing that absorption helps preserve the wood longer, without altering its natural appearance.
